Gary is literally steeped in carpets, having been in the trade for approaching 30 years, mostly in sales, including Cormar Carpets and Headlam.  “We are delighted that Gary is joining us,” said Lesley Inman, Edlel Telenzo’s UK operations manager. “His knowledge of the industry and his passion for selling carpets are practically legendary – we are sure he’ll be a great asset.”
 “I’m very excited about my new role,” says Gary.  Edel Telenzo is much admired for its product design and quality and I want to do my bit to put the company even more on the map than it already is!”
Gary is married with two teenaged children and in his spare time is renovating his house in Lancashire. When he gets the chance, which is rarely, he relaxes over a game of golf or a good book.

Edel Telenzo Carpets has strengthened its contracts carpets offering in the UK with the launch of a brand new collection of carpet tiles. There are three high grade 100% BCF polyamide 6 options; and two using Edel Telenzo’s own Edelon Protect 100% polypropylene yarn, which.locks the colour into the product to produce superior stain and bleach resistance as well as being moth proof and non-allergenic.  All are 50 x 50cm tiles with a modified bitumen flexible backing

The three polyamide ranges are: Vancouver, a luxurious frisée cut pile option; and San Francisco, a heavier loop pile with a contrast fleck pattern.  Both come in a wide range of 15 carefully selected contemporary shades. The third collection, Berlin is a multi-tone flecked loop pile in 10 different colourways. All three are also available as 4m broadloom carpet.

The two new Edelon Protect polypropylene collections are based on popular broadloom carpet ranges Lima and Mars.  Lima is a 1/10^th gauge loop pile in 10 new muted, solid colours  -  Lima carpet  has been re-coloured accordingly.  Mars is a two-tone cross-over loop pile, also in 10 colours.

“My general impression was that there were not so many visitors this year – and the numbers from the UK were also down a little - but fortunately the ones who did come to our stand were good quality! Our new ranges and planned new launches were very well received, especially Chelsea, a luxurious 3-ply yarn Pure New Wool low level loop, in eight stunning shades of greys, browns, taupe and mushrooms; and also Hudson and Lawrence, very attractively priced100% wool qualities – one textured and one plain - in six earthy, neutral shades, which will be available in rolls only. Our new contract tile programme had also attracted a lot of interest – especially as three of the five new range are also available in rolls – and the other two will be soon!”
